After one terrifying incident, I asked Sabu who has loved teaching martial arts for decades to teach me some longed for self-defenseskills. I was not disappointed. By the time he was done, I felt far more relief & confidence that I was no longer just a sitting duck in a state without self-defenselaws. All these decades later, I’m glad I did. Come to think of it, it’s about time for a refresher!

We are especially grateful for your tips on how to use everyday items such as combs, pens, and even Mentos containers filled with sand as tools for self-protection. Learning about pressure points and how they can be used to escape an assailant was another highlight of the session.
